Dear Potential Sponsor,
Black Voters Impact Initiative, Black by God, Call to Action for Racial Equality and other allied groups are seeking sponsors for the second annual Black Policy Day at the Cultural Center and State Capitol on
February 15, 2023.
The day will include a breakfast event that reviews the Black Policy Agenda and provides information about current opportunities and resources. The afternoon will include a youth-centered lunch event with accompanying activities. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to engage in meetings with lawmakers, space for vendors and tabling opportunities, youth activities, and much more. Some of the events that day will include an option for virtual participation via a live stream.
Our first event was highly impactful, check out the highlights here: bviiwv.com/black-policy-day-2022/
The Black Policy Day organizing committee needs to raise $25,000 to cover the associated cost of this event. Our budget includes food throughout the day, printing, incentives to help cover individual costs, rental fee for the Cultural Center, childcare services, and promotional support.
We are inviting your organization to participate as a vendor, and to sponsor our event by becoming an event
partner. We are seeking partners at the following levels:
Sponsorships can be submitted online (click “get your tickets” to select your level)
The online sponsorship registration also includes options for in-kind contributions that we are also seeking, such as day-of support with engaging with legislators, childcare, and tabling.
In appreciation of your support, you will be acknowledged throughout the day as a partner. Thank you for considering contributing to making Black Policy Day 2023 a success.
We kindly request your response by January 13, 2023.
